On November 22, the launch ceremony of the Mexican vehicle export project between ZIC INTERNATIONAL(Zhejiang Zhongda Yuantong International Trading Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Wuchan Zhongda Industrial Group)and Chongqing Changan Automobile International Sales and Service Co., Ltd. was held at Ningbo Meishan Port.

Deputy secretary-general of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government Hua Bitian in lead of the heads of relevant departments met with Shou Guoyang, vice president of Wuchan Zhongda Industrial Co., Ltd., Sun Zejun, vice president of Changan Automobile International Company, Zhou Zhendong, general manager of ZIC INTERNATIONAL, etc. attended the ceremony together.

ZIC INTERNATIONAL, as a specialized enterprise under the Wuchan Zhongda Industrial Group, is deeply concentrate on the global trade of automobiles. It is also one of the first pilot enterprises for parallel imported cars and second-hand car exports in Ningbo. In 2022, ZIC INTERNATIONAL completed the export of 9,030 second-hand cars, ranking first in China. By the end of October 2023, the company has exported 12,000 vehicles, increase of 212% compare to 2022; the export trade volume was US$220 million,increase of 125% compare to 2022, and the scale of used car exports continues to rank among the top in China.

This time, ZIC INTERNATIONAL and Changan Automobile International are working together to export the advantageous models manufactured by Changan Automobile Group to Mexico, which is on the other side of the ocean through Ningbo Port. This is a substantial and significant new step in the strategic cooperation between the manufacturers. It is reported that after the first export order of this project is completed, ZIC INTERNATIONAL will continue to provide Changan Automobile through smart supply chain integration services for overseas automobiles.
